The administration of ILL requests is separated according to active and passive inter-library loans. In both cases, the requests can be manually input as well as put through the online interface into the system. The numerous details of a requests can be called up and altered at any time in a well-arranged display screen.

In the so-called monitoring of requests function, the current ILL requests can be sorted according to various criteria such as status, lending library or ILL-reference. In addition you can narrow the search results further with the help of various search filters, which facilitates a well-targeted processing of your inter-library loans.

The inter-library loans module is integrated with the circulation module so that library circulation staff can always call up the current status of all inter-library loans of a user as well as the lending library.

The user himself can follow the current status of his ILL request in his user account in WebOPAC.

For participation in an online ILL of a union system, LIBERO offers a SLNP interface over which the exchange of data between the central ILL server (ZFL) and the LIBERO ILL module occurs.

The communication between the ZFL union server and your LIBERO database server controls the LIBERO ZFL server manager.
