Data import and export
The LIBERO data import/export module gives you options for transferring data from, and to, offline locations, such as remote branches or mobile libraries.
Also in this module are all the functions needed to reload issues data safely into the main database in case of emergency offline working.
Highlights
- Before importing, the transfer files created by the various clients or locations are consolidated, meaning they are put in the right order regarding time and type of transaction.
- The first formal check takes place at this point
- The actual import process generates detailed import logs, which can then be checked for errors by library staff
- With bulk exports, you can remove bibliographic records by their record number
- The function 'Extract details from database' permits the transfer of a section of a database (a section of a location) into another database
